Our KDC Competition Companies are for those dancers looking to take their dancing to the competitive level. We currently provide this option for dances ages 6-18. Auditions to be part of a KDC company take place in early summer and is INVITE ONLY. Once on a company, these dancers come to class multiple required hours a week in addition to optional recital classes. These dancers focus very heavily on proper technique and utilizing that in dances they learn and compete at various competitions. Acro is required of all company members. Typically, companies attend at least 3 regional competitions in the Chicago/Milwaukee area with their groups, as well as, additional competitions for soloists. Our companies attend one National Competition in the early summer as a final competition of the season. Companies perform all group dances in the annual KDC recital. Each year the competitions we choose to attend change depending on schedules.
